OUR  ASSOCIATION

 

     The Oak Valley Homeowners Association was officially incorporated in 1981 under the laws of the State of Illinois. Our covenants date back to 1977 for Unit I and 1979 for Units II & III.

 

     The purpose of the OVHA is and was “to insure proper use and appropriate development and improvements of Oak Valley Subdivision and every part thereof…and, in general, to provide adequately for a residential area of the highest quality and character”.

 

     Back in the early 1980’s, we were more of a developing area than we are now, when we have almost all of our lots occupied.

     The Board of Directors of the OVHA is in place to uphold the principles of our Covenants and to conduct the day-to-day business of our Association.

     Positions on the Board are entirely voluntary and do not take an extraordinary amount of time. Like many associations, the work seems to fall on the few individuals who are willing to go the extra distance to see the job completed. We need more of these individuals in Oak Valley!

     This is where you live!  Get involved as a Director or as a Board Member. There are plenty of people who can advise you on what needs to be done.
